The amount of new French wood used for this single-varietal Shiraz from the Barossa Valley varies from year to year. In 2020 it is 80 % plus 20 % one-year-old barrels. The 2020 "RWT" is "a brilliant triad of intense fruit, balanced tannins and this noble oak". This is how James Halliday summarises it in his 97-point rating. Robert Parker even gives it 98 points.
