Château Ducru-Beaucaillou
The Grand Cru Classé Château Ducru-Beaucaillou in the Médoc appellation Saint-Julien has existed since 1720. It has been in the hands of the Borie family since 1942 and now for three generations.
Similar to Cos d'Estournel further up in the Médoc, a hedonistic approach was taken here a few years ago. Opulent, almost juicy fruit, silky tannins and floral notes characterize the aromas here. In addition, the inimitable elegance and finesse of the star appellation St. Julien. The 2021 vintage is almost pure Cabernet nectar (98%)!
