Château Ducru-Beaucaillou
The Grand Cru Classé Château Ducru-Beaucaillou in the Médoc appellation Saint-Julien has existed since 1720. It has been in the hands of the Borie family since 1942 and now for three generations.
Château Ducru Beaucaillou 2ème GCC St. Julien 2022
Today, Ducru Beaucaillou sees itself as the antithesis of its "old rival? Leoville Las Cases. Where La Cases promotes elegance and finesse, Ducru exudes pure sensuality, lush sensuality. However, this fascinating wine never gives the impression that anything is excessive. The 2022 Ducru greets you with almost lavish red and black fruit. Enormously powerful on the palate, you can feel the fine but very present tannins. Added to this are floral notes and lots of chocolate. An intoxicating experience!
