Probably the Pessac wine with the most finesse and certainly a candidate for wine of the vintage there!

Château Haut-Bailly

Haut Bailly is one of the oldest chateaus in Bordeaux. It is located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, in the north of the Graves growing region.

Naturally, there have been several owners over the past 500 years. The 1998 takeover by Robert G. Willmers, a banker from Buffalo, who died in 2017, is particularly influential for today's estate.
