Haut-Bailly II Pessac-Léognan 2020

Bordeaux, France, Red wine, wine cuvée
0.75 l

Formerly called La Parde de Haut Bailly, it became simply Haut Bailly II. However, the wine is not simple. As with Haut Bailly, you can expect pure hedonism with beguiling fruit, fine tannins and no rough edges. This is simply beautiful ... especially in 2020.

Château Haut-Bailly

Haut Bailly is one of the oldest chateaus in Bordeaux. It is located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, in the north of the Graves growing region.

Naturally, there have been several owners over the past 500 years. The 1998 takeover by Robert G. Willmers, a banker from Buffalo, who died in 2017, is particularly influential for today's estate.
