The Chablis region has become extremely interesting for lovers of Chardonnay in recent years. With the same quality as the big names from the Côte de Beaune, some of the wines are considerably cheaper. As the region is much further north, the wines are also fresher, more mineral and crisper. The "Chablis" from Jean Marc Brocard is a perfect example of this. The 2022 impresses with its crystal-clear fruit and fine creaminess. Matured exclusively in steel tanks, it has a taut but ripe acidity that is very well integrated.
