The Haut Médoc wine estate, which holds the rank of 3ième Grand Cru Classé, took a few years to find its current style after the change of ownership in 2005. Major changes towards better quality ultimately led back to the class of the past, when the estate set standards in the 1960s and 70s. The 2019 vintage shines with a great deal of complexity in its aromas, elegant flavours of black fruits and refined notes of tobacco and cedar wood.There is also a beautiful flavour that gives the wine a lot of freshness. Everything ends in a great long finish. Probably the best "La Lagune" of modern times.

Château La Lagune is located in the Haut-Médoc, just above Bordeaux. On a proud 80 ha, owner and oenologist Caroline Frey produces a Troisième Grand Cru Classé from Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, as well as a second and a third wine.
