Château Olivier
The history of this impressive château dates back to the Middle Ages. There are reports that Edward of Woodstock, the son of Edward III, known as the "Black Prince", often used to hunt at Château Olivier.
2017 was ideal for the great white wines in Pessac Leognan. Château Olivier is known for its excellent and characterful whites. Made from 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semilion, this wine is the refined result of the great experience of the people at this impressive château. The wine has an aroma of fresh white flowers and ripe citrus fruit. The palate reveals a complex structure and a creamy texture, which is mainly due to the excellent wood management. There is a great balance and a wonderful salty minerality at the end. A great wine at a more than fair price!
