Penfolds Grange Shiraz 2018

South Australia - Barossa Valley, Australia, Red wine, wine cuvée
0.75 l, Item no. 11468

This 2018 "Grange BIN 95" will go down in history as one of the great Grange vintages. It is a wine of impeccable beauty and balance. One could assume that it would be a great wine, as South Australia had a truly picture-book vintage.Expectations were therefore high. But what Peter Gago and his team have made of it is simply so extraordinary that it is hard to believe. It is a wine of spectacular depth, density and complexity. And yet it somehow seems weightless, noble and elegant. There has probably never been a "Grange" that has been awarded 100 points more often. It deserves it!
