The two brothers George and Daniel Daou have dedicated what they consider to be the crown jewel of their portfolio, the "Soul of a Lion', to their father. 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot combine over almost two years in 100% new wood to create a highly exciting elixir that constantly alternates between dark, red fruit and freshness on the one hand and spicy and smoky notes on the other. A perfect demonstration of everything that can be created in California in terms of Bordeaux blends when the grapes are grown on the perfectly suited terroir.

"Daou" is basically nothing less than synonymous with the highest quality, highly decorated Bordeaux-style red wines from Paso Roble, the wine-growing region between the West Coast metropolises of Los Angeles and San Francisco. The vineyards of the brothers Daniel and Georges Daou are located in the western hills of this area.
