Château Léon rouge 2020

In the outstanding 2020 vintage, Château Léon produced a wonderfully juicy wine in the style of a St.-Émilion Grand Cru. In addition to 60% Merlot, 20% each of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon were used. The wine comes from vines that are around 12 years old and are rooted in clay and limestone slopes with gravel. The intense aroma of cassis and spices wafts out of the glass. The palate reveals a good structure with plenty of pressure. The wine is beautifully balanced with a lot of finesse and a long finish.
