The 2022 "Ried Kreutles Grüner Veltliner Smaragd? comes from the Loibner vineyard of the same name with loess soil. The silvery Grüner Veltliner is reminiscent of yellow apples and quinces, lemon balm and verbena, a hint of tropical notes and rock spice. The palate is characterized by intense juiciness, salty minerality and the spiciness and slight peppery note typical of this grape variety. The wine is a true Smaragd: opulent, expansive and intense, yet clear and multi-faceted.
