Château Rieussec 1er GCC Sauternes 1997

The wines from Sauternes have undergone major changes over the last 25 years. Formerly rather sweet and opulent, today they are fresh and mineral. This 1997 from the Château Rieussec 1er Cru vineyard is one of the highly elegant, finesse vintages. The nose already reveals beautifully ripe, exotic aromas of mango, but also citrus fruits and, at this stage of maturity, beeswax and honey. A very fine wine that has developed beautifully. This is Sauternes the way we love it!
