Château Rieussec 1er Cru Classé 2020
The Premier Cru from the Sauternes appellation, within sight of Yquem, has always been famous for its aromatic, full-bodied, and long-aging sweet wines of the highest quality. Over the past 15 years or so, the wine has been developed into a slightly more precise, fresher, and leaner style. At the same time, the quality has been further enhanced by profound improvements. With its fine acidity and high elegance, the 2020 Rieussec dances playfully across the tongue. The impressive concentration and exotic fruit are complemented by floral aromas and notes of honey and roasted almonds.
