Château Beychevelle
built in 1565 by Bishop François of Foix-Candale, Beychevelle is considered one of the oldest Châteaux in the Médoc. Today, the estate in the Saint-Julien appellation belongs to the Japanese spirits group Suntory.
Château Beychevelle 2020 has a bright violet colour. Even at this early stage, the wine shows its seductive fruit and fine elegance. Notes of blackberries, black cherries and dark chocolate on the nose. The wine is both powerful and silky, fresh and fruity with a long finish.
