Winery Münzberg Schlangenpfiff GG Spätburgunder 2020

Palatinate, Germany, Red wine, Spätburgunder
0.75 l

In and around Gols in Burgenland lie the 40 plots (totalling 25 hectares) of vineyards of the Paul Achs winery. In addition to 80% red wine - Paul Achs is considered a Blaufränkisch expert - 20% white wine is also produced here. This includes this fresh and fruity Chardonnay with an excellent price/enjoyment ratio. 80% maturation in stainless steel tanks (the rest in large used wood), no malolactic fermentation and consistent fermentation down to just 1 g/l residual sugar ensure crisp Chardonnay freshness and fruit with fine minerality and plenty of drinkability.

Münzberg Winery

The Münzberg is located near the Palatinate town of Landau - in the midst of a gently rolling cultural landscape characterised by fruit trees and vineyards. Named after coins found in Roman times, the mountain is home to the vineyard of the same name. It is run by the Keßler family.
