The "Furth Grüner Veltliner 2023? comes from alluvial soils with calcareous Danube gravel, as is typical on the lower terraces of the Krems Valley. The grapes were harvested and sorted by hand. For Michael Malat, "Furth? is the wine that "always goes and always tastes good?. And he is right! The light lemon-yellow Grüner Veltliner with the slightly green reflections that match its name already has a spicy, fruity and invigorating aroma of green and yellow apples, green pears and Reineclauden with a hint of lemon. There are also stony and herbaceous spices and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, the wine is juicy and balanced between ripeness and freshness, fruit and spice, with a mouth-watering salinity on the finish.

The history of the Malat winery in Kremstal dates back to the 18th century. This means almost 300 years of wine knowledge, from which Michael Malat still benefits today: "Because every vintage is different, there is no recipe.
