Château Léoville Las Cases
The always somewhat unapproachable 2ème Cru on the northern border of St. Julien impresses this year with an almost seductive aroma. It is still a Léoville Las Cases, but a little more open, leaner and more elegant than usual. This is of course also the result of this extremely hedonistic vintage: fresh black fruit, fine acidity and elegance. 97-98 JS
