Château Pape Clément
Yes, you are right, because the name says it all: this vineyard belonged to a pope, more precisely to Clement V - and that was at the beginning of the 14th century.
There are very few exceptional white Bordeaux in Bordeaux. You can almost count them on one hand. The white Pape Clement has always been one of them. This year, the white Pessac wines have been particularly successful. This wine fascinates with its freshness and salty minerality, which is embedded in a fine melt. The production is very small, which is why there are not so many bottles.
