Château Pape Clément
Yes, you are right, because the name says it all: this vineyard belonged to a pope, more precisely to Clement V - and that was at the beginning of the 14th century.
Château Pape Clement Cru Classé de Graves 2018
An enormously powerful style, as has been typical of Pape Clément for years, brings out the masculine side of this cru classé vineyard in this concentrated vintage. This wine will need some time to mature before it becomes a complex and multi-layered wine. Jeb Dunnuck gives it 99 points.
