The Tuscan winery Tenuta dell'Ornellaia was founded in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori and in between partly owned by Robert Mondavi. Today it belongs to the wine empire of the Frescobaldi family.

Tenuta dell'Ornellaia Masseto Toscana IGT 2021
An opulent, powerful Masseto was created in Tuscany's Super Wine Year 2021. Everything is dense, concentrated and very present. Black berries and liquorice are evident on the powerful palate. However, a hint of florality and the ripe acidity ensure a beautiful balance. Everything runs on this elegant harmony and at the end comes this salty minerality, which once again provides a real wow moment. Antonio Galloni from Vinous awarded the highest score of 100 points!
