With the 2006 vintage, Ornellaia introduced the Vendemmia d'Artista project, in which - similar to Chateau Mouton-Rothschild - an artist is invited each year to design a special label for the vintage. Unlike Mouton, however, not all bottles are labelled, which makes them all the more sought-after collector's items. For the 2021 vintage, it was the Italian artist Marinella Senatore who created the label entitled "La Generosità'. The vintage itself was almost ideal for Bolgheri. Almost every single parcel was harvested under the best conditions. Richness and fullness are the hallmarks of the 2021, which was awarded 99 points by Vinous and James Suckling.
