Limestone and marl with a high clay content form the perfect soil for this Chardonnay. Citrus and pome fruit dominate the nose, interwoven with nutty and smoky tones. Citrus, herbs, and yellow fruit also appear on the palate. Cool minerality, herbs, and tobacco add texture, power, and spice. After a one-day maceration, fermentation and maturation take place in local barriques. A perfect companion to noble fish with beurre blanc or lobster Thermidor.
