Winery Stiegelmar K & K Königlicher Wein für das Königliche Gemüse Weissburgunder Magnum 2024

This project wine was created together with Jürgen and Hans Stiegelmar from the winery of the same name in Gols in Burgenland. Is it THE wine to go with asparagus? There is no such thing. But we are close! It's a fine, mineral Pinot Blanc that has good energy without too much acidity, fruit and new wood. That's how it was created in our minds at Pese in January. The two winemakers then left the Pinot Blanc longer in large wooden barrels for us and finally produced the special "K&K? bottling. A perfect match for the royal vegetables, with delicate fruit, vibrant minerality and so much power that it can carry any Hollandaise. It is also fine enough if you prefer to enjoy it with a little butter. And even in a magnum for the big asparagus party.
