If there is such a thing as a bank in the Graves appellation, it is Château de Fieuzal, with an excellent red Cru de Graves and an equally outstanding white wine, albeit a much rarer one.

Château de Fieuzal Cru Classé de Graves 2024
During our primeur week visit to the château, we had the opportunity to talk to director Stephen Carrier about the vintage and Fieuzal's philosophy. The wines have improved significantly over the last few years. This is particularly noticeable in this vintage. The improvements in the cellar and the more precise approach are palpable. The wine is wonderfully ripe and floral, red fruits and a balance between minerality and body result in a very harmonious 2024, which is hard to find in this price range!
