Château Sociando Mallet
When the vineyards of the Médoc were classified in 1855, Sociando-Mallet was not yet included. It only became known when Jean Gautreau discovered it in 1969 and realised its full potential.
Located in the far north of the Haut Médoc (just above St. Estèphe), the estate has always been known for its robust wines with a strong character, which always need some time to mature and develop. The 2024 is fully in keeping with this history. The nose is characterized by intense, dense notes of red fruit. An astonishing amount of power and pressure develops on the palate. Salty and floral notes are added on the finish. A great achievement from Sociando Mallet this year!
