The 2024 vintage of the 2ème Crus Classé, which is always very traditionally aged and geared towards longevity, is very hedonistic. Juicy, rather black fruits are complemented by plenty of florality and animating acidity. The silky, ripe tannins support the pleasant appearance this year. Very nice performance!

The almost 50-hectare château is the result of the division of the once large Leoville vineyard. Almost 30 years before the classification of Médoc wines in 1855, it was owned by the Bartons, a family of merchants from Bordeaux with Irish roots.
