The 2ème Cru Classé winery from St. Julien is a wine that, like few others, represents the typical characteristics of Bordeaux in general and St. Julien in particular. Classic cassis aromas, cedar wood, and cigar box. Old school par excellence. Thanks to new winemaking techniques, it has become even more accessible and hedonistic. The 2022 is probably the best Leoville Barton ever produced. Everything comes together here. A powerful but elegant wine that forms a perfect liaison with plenty of pressure on the palate and the sensuality of the vintage!

Château Leoville Barton

The almost 50-hectare château is the result of the division of the once large Leoville vineyard. Almost 30 years before the classification of Médoc wines in 1855, it was owned by the Bartons, a family of merchants from Bordeaux with Irish roots.
