Château Les Carmes Haut Brion Pessac Leognan 2024
The slightly different approach to mash fermentation and maturation means that the 2024 also (and above all) has an unusual concentration and fruit fullness. It has a very burgundy appearance, and not just since this vintage. Dark, extremely dense fruit and enormous pressure are reminiscent of far more concentrated vintages. A fascinating wine, especially in this vintage. Les Carmes Haut Brion has the highest average score of all Bordeaux wines this year according to the most important evaluators!
