Château Calon Segur 3ème GCC St. Estèphe 2024
The once most Burgundian of all St. Estèphe wines has become somewhat fatter and more concentrated in the last 5 years or so. This begs the question: where is this leading? If you look at the 2024, this is a very fine wine that is reminiscent of the "old days?. Very powerful on the palate, but still elegant and balanced. A great recommendation this year!
