Le Mortelle Winery
Tenuta Le Mortelle is located not far from Castiglione della Pescaia in the centre of Maremma, the wild, ancient part of Tuscany. The Antinori family already owned land there in the mid-19th century and opened the winery in 1999.

From Antinori's Maremma estate Le Mortelle, this wine is vinified in stainless steel and matured in barriques, made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Cabernet Franc. Full of blue and black fruits, with notes of garrigue and macchia, chocolate, oak, cinnamon, blood orange, and violets. On the palate, "Botrosecco? is round and ripe, juicy yet fresh and precise thanks to clear acidity, finishing firmly.
