Schreckbichl Weißburgunder Riserva Berg Alto Adige DOC 2022

This Pinot Bianco comes from vines up to 40 years old trained in trellis and pergola systems in Eppan Berg, at the foot of the Mendel mountains at 450 to 500 meters. The soils consist of moraine debris and calcareous deposits with clay and loam components. After cool fermentation at 18?C in large and small oak barrels, the wine was matured there on the fine lees for ten months. The Pinot Bianco "Berg? offers a combination of fresh apple, pear, and citrus notes along with smoky and nutty aspects, tobacco, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the fruit appears ripe, juicy, and creamy. The smoky and nutty tones return, joined by herbal and savory accents and fine minerality.
