Château Latour 1er GCC Pauillac 2012

The 2012 Latour is a powerful wine! In this rather charming, somewhat lighter vintage, the Premier Cru shows what it is capable of. Unrestrained dark berry fruit, ripe tannins, and incredibly complex aromas dominated by spices, fine woods, and dark chocolate. The finish is long and persistent, ending with mineral freshness. But you should give it some more time or decant it well in advance.
