Bodega Chacra Chacra Chardonnay Patagonia 2024
This Patagonian Chardonnay from Piero Incisa della Rocchetta (Sassicaia) is produced in collaboration with legendary Burgundy winemaker Jean-Marc Roulot. The vines are 40 years old and grow on mineral soils with limestone and alluvial deposits. They are cultivated biodynamically, and the wine is aged for ten months in concrete eggs (20%), stainless steel tanks (15%) and used French oak barrels (20%). It is a magnificent, intense, vibrantly mineral and energetic wine with a fantastic structure. You will find white flowers, Meyer lemons and pome fruit, cedar wood and salt, a hint of smoke and nuts, as well as a mouth-watering saltiness in this multidimensional, extremely precise Chardonnay.
