The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon "Hillside Select' is a beautiful, deep wine that is pure seduction. It presents itself in an almost opaque garnet and purple colour with a wealth of aromas. Crème de Cassis, concentrated blueberries and black cherries meet vanilla, cinnamon and cedar, violets and orange peel, cocoa and praline. Despite its concentration, it remains transparent on the palate, fresh and clear despite its richness, with perfectly integrated, fine tannins and a brilliant, underlying acidity. What a wine!
