Domaine Stépane Tissot Chardonnay Rose Massale 2022

Years ago, Bénédicte and Stéphane Tissot discovered naturally mutated rosé-coloured Chardonnay vines in one of their vineyards, which they then propagated and have been using to produce this unique wine since 2015. The must was fermented spontaneously, aged reductively in used barrels and bottled without the addition of sulphur. The result is a highly aromatic, precise and delicious wine with fascinating tension and structure. A basket full of fruit from the local orchard combines with flowers, citrus fruits, lightly roasted hazelnuts and nut butter. On the palate, the wine is intense, taut and powerful with a deep minerality.
