Château Pavie Winery

"Powerful yet elegant, timeless wines."

Situated on one of Saint-Emilion's most complex terroirs of limestone and clay on south-facing slopes, Château Pavie produces powerful yet elegant, timeless wines.

purchased by Gérard Perse in 1998, he succeeded in elevating his estate to the rank of Premier Grand Cru Classé "A" thanks to precise work and significant investments in both the vineyard and the cellar.

This exceptional 42-hectare terroir, divided into 28 different blocks, is now planted with 50 % Merlot, 30 % Cabernet Franc and 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon, percentages of the grape varieties that have been used in the blend since the 2019 vintage. After vinification in 80hl wooden barrels, the wines are aged in separate batches for 18 months in French oak barrels (75 % new).

The wines from Château Pavie are characterised by fantastic depth, great complexity and plenty of minerality and offer long ageing potential.
