"More terroir than variety on the nose: flint and rose water. The palate has power, but also finesse: silky phenolics, a fine, almost lucid acidity and a very stylish sweetness that rounds off the structure. No intrusive spice, but a very clear flavour with equal development of the fruit. Superb length." 96 points

"Medium lemon yellow with greenish reflections. A ripe aroma of apricot, candied peach and dried porcini mushroom. On the palate, the acidity is on the nine, the tactile minerality is electrifying, the wine is full-bodied and has reserves for another 15 years of ageing. "Initially smoky and yeasty on the nose, also flint, followed by ripe aromas of pear and sesame slices. On the palate, the supple attack leads into a lively acidity that is buffered by a pinch of residual sweetness. A taut, robust structure. Ripe flavours linger on the finish." 93 points
