Château Cheval Blanc 1er GCC A St. Emilion 2018
Terroirs like that of Château Cheval Blanc always create balance and equilibrium, even in very hot vintages like 2018. Not everyone likes the sometimes somewhat cooked, thicker fruit of such hot vintages, especially in this appellation. However, there is no sign of this in the "Cheval Blanc". It was already wonderfully balanced and harmonious "en primeur", and the high proportion of Cabernet Franc will, as always, give it a long ageing period.
