Family winery Tement Zieregg Sauvignon Blanc Magnum 2013

Falstaff awarded a strong 96 points for this 2013, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate still awarded 94. This vintage is deep and ripe, intense with smoky and chalky tones. The usual Sauvignon Blanc suspects of cassis and gooseberry form the fruity foundation, along with white peach and passion fruit. All of this is of the utmost precision, taut, extremely complex and of impressive length. A Zieregg that lives up to the legendary reputation of this vineyard. Markus Hofschuster called the 2013 a "force of nature' and also awarded it 96 points.
