Family winery Tement Zieregg Morillon 2020

The Morillon 2020 comes from the Zieregg Steilriegel plot, one of the warmest in the Zieregg area, characterised by brown earth and coral limestone. After spontaneous fermentation and ageing in 15% new and 90% multi-year barriques on the fine lees, the wine was bottled unfiltered. The Chardonnay is a wine full of energy and character. It smells of smoky limestone, iodine and herbs, apple with peel, vineyard peach and lemon. On the palate, the Morillon is very juicy, fresh and salty, with intense fruit and very good length. It is a generous yet precise, fine wine.
