Family winery Tement Zieregg Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Magnum 2018
The fact that the 2018 vintage is just as important to the Tements as the great 2017 vintage is shown by the fact that Armin Tement has once again produced a "Vinotheken Reserve? from the Zieregg this year. This time, however, not from the "Die sieben Reihen? vineyard, but from the "Weiße Wand? parcel. In Stephan Reinhardt's description in Robert Parker, the 2018 vintage of this long-aged wine is reminiscent of a Pessac and therefore of a great white Bordeaux. In fact, the "Zieregg? is similarly dense, complex and profound. It is full and juicy with tropical fruit notes, complex spice and deep minerality. Despite its richness and juiciness, the wine has crystal-clear acidity and plenty of tension. What a magnificent wine!
