The Leflaive estate is originally located in the Puligny Montrachet appellation. However, they also own an interesting 1er Cru vineyard in Meursault. The 2021 vintage displays the typical and wonderful aromas of a great Meursault, such as hazelnut and melted butter, but with Leflaive's own precision. The wine is somewhat tighter, which may well be due to the vintage. In any case, this is great Burgundy as interpreted by Leflaive!
