Louis Roederer Cristal 2015

We agree with Louis Roederer: concentration is the hallmark of this vintage. The 2015 harvest yielded fully ripe, perfectly healthy grapes, whose power and richness are perfectly balanced by the chalky soils of Champagne. There is plenty of ripe fruit, especially the Cristal-typical mix of white peach and mirabelle plum, complemented by the finesse of the equally typical, vibrantly bright chalky minerality. No fewer than 45 parcels, all planted with vines at least 20 years old, have been incorporated into the 2015 cuvée, creating a fine blend of freshness, finesse, ripeness and structure.
