Champagne Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2013

Louis Roederer's Cristal is one of the great legends of Champagne – the Cristal Rosé adds an exciting new dimension to this legend. Thanks to its exceptional quality, it is in high demand – and consequently rare. For the 2013 vintage, characterised by a dry but not overly hot summer, the cuvée consisted of 53% Pinot Noir and 47% Chardonnay. Fermentation took place using the infusion method developed by Roederer, in which small quantities of Chardonnay are added to the Pinot must. The result is a highly complex masterpiece, equally characterised by flattering red berry fruit, lively minerality and deep, complex notes. International wine critics are unanimously enthusiastic, awarding dream scores of between 98 and 99/100 points across the board.
