The 2022 Bienvenues Batard Montrachet from Leflaive is already well above its own Premier Cru sites from Puligny. Enormous concentration and minerality with a brilliant finish will allow it to age superbly. The aromas of oysters and stone fruit are intense and complex. The somewhat warmer vintage helps to achieve a somewhat earlier drinking maturity, which will still be a while in coming.
