Clavoillons 2021 exudes crystalline precision and fragrant tension. Citrus, mandarin, white flowers and delicate herbs rise delicately from the glass, underpinned by chalk and smoke. The palate reveals a firm texture, carried by lively acidity and a salty finish. The wine combines energy and calm, appearing silky, cool and with a fine, almost ethereal minerality. One of the few truly cool vintages of the last decade with a clear line and great purity.
