Biondi Santi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2019

This 2019 vintage is another great Brunello from Biondi Santi! You can already tell from the nose and later on the palate what a great wine this is. Yes, it still needs some time before it becomes a legend once again. Biondi Santi (at least in the past and now again) is committed to tradition. No late harvest, no over-extraction, not too much wood. This gentle giant is pure power and elegance. The pressure on the palate is enormous, but at the same time the wine is so wonderfully fine and fresh that you are literally swept away by the intense aromas! Red fruits, floral notes, and minerality of great intensity. This is and remains a legend of Tuscany!
