In order to produce authentic wines from the region, the company from Rhodt unter Rietburg on the Palatinate Wine Route relies on careful care in the vineyard and a perfectly timed, selective and meticulous harvest. Only the best grapes can produce a good product.
Over the years, Felix Waldkirch has added exceptionally good parcels to his portfolio. Classic grape varieties grow there in the right location. In the Rhodter Schlossberg, sandstone, sun and a cool microclimate allow elegant, citrus-fruity Rieslings to ripen on a south-facing slope.
In the steep and high-lying Weyherer Michelsberg, a cool microclimate and intense sunshine produce the finest, mineral Rieslings. In the Rhodter Rosengarten, the limestone content of the soil and the light westerly winds produce round and powerful Pinot Blancs.
