Château Haut-Brion
Haut-Brion in Pessac/Bordeaux is the only Château outside the Médoc to achieve Grand Cru Classé status with the 1855 classification.
It is no news that Haut Brion is always one of the very best of a vintage. In this vintage of the century, it is probably the best ever. A beguiling wine that shows both ripe fruit with fine chocolate, but also a fresh florality. Added to this is a never-ending finish. It has received the highest score of 100 from almost all critics: Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, James Suckling and even from the critical Jean Marc Quarin!
